realme, the fastest-growing smartphone and AI products brand worldwide, has successfully passed TÜV Rheinland’s comprehensive product reliability, quality, and safety assessment. realme has been granted the highest certificate of reliability for smartphones in the world.

The company has undergone the German organization’s eight-month extensive quality testing of products. The tests also include determining product threshold to sudden falls, dust, extremely hot and cold temperatures, electric voltage fluctuation, and heavy phone usage.

realme is the world’s first brand to acquire an inclusive certificate of quality assurance from TÜV Rheinland. The certificate covers all components of the smartphone.

TÜV Rheinland, on the other hand, is known for being one of the biggest and most prestigious quality assurance organizations. Moreover, it relies on testing every part and component of the phone thoroughly, thus, ensuring that each product up to the ultimate quality standards.

realme hosted a live virtual event to announce and celebrate the new certificate. Didson Pereira, product Expert at TÜV Rheinland, has illustrated that the major cooperation between realme and TÜV Rheinland, over the past year, has contributed to conducting a new generation of quality standards.

Undergoing the eight-month testing phase meant having to pass 23 main tests, including 10 possible scenarios in daily usage settings; sudden falls, manufacturing defects.

Furthermore, all products at TÜV undergo seven harsh environmental tests including dust, extremely hot and dry temperatures, electric voltage fluctuation, air pressure, static electricity, as well as button life. Besides, products also have to overcome six tests evaluating components and reliability.

From his side, Mahmoud Taha, realme Egypt spokesperson and Head of Marketing, announced his company’s current ranking, fourth on a local market scale, with an increasing market share of 13.2 percent. According to a report issued by globally-renowned IDC, a Market analysis & intelligence platform. The report entailed realme’s performance in 2020.

Taha has reassured the company’s strategy of combining practicality and technology. realme aspires to present smart and durable products that can support state-of-the-art AI technology.

Therefore, providing our loyal users with a more luxurious experience at competitive prices, especially to our key targets, the youth.

Taha added that one of the pillars of realme’s global strategy is to test its products in more than 130 settings and 200 realistic scenarios to completely assure the products’ quality before releasing them to the market.

In addition, realme has conducted more than 10,000 surveys to comprehend the needs and preferences of its users.

Taha explains how this has helped realme win users’ loyalty and trust across the globe with more than 70 million users worldwide and two million in Egypt.

It’s worth noting that German TÜV Rheinland was established around 150 years ago. It is one of the world’s most respected quality testing institutions.
