In light of the directives of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, to take the necessary measures to ensure the quality of telecommunications services during the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1st, the NTRA continues its efforts to ensure the readiness of the telecommunications infrastructure to meet the demands of this monumental event and its global significance.

In this regard, the NTRA has supported and coordinated the work of telecommunications networks within the museum's perimeter, in cooperation with telecommunications service providers. It has also conducted the necessary measurements of telecommunications service quality on all roads leading to the museum, as well as on the roads extending from the airports to the museum, and within the Giza Pyramids and Museum area. Furthermore, the NTRA has supervised the installation of numerous antennas and mobile base stations to ensure the provision of high-quality telecommunications services, providing the highest levels of coverage for visitors and delegations arriving from various countries.
