"Digital Plants" - The leading Egyptian company in information security solutions and digital transformation - announced its entitlement to the International Excellence Award for Arab Smart Government for the year 2022, as the first Egyptian company to receive this award in fifteen years, due to its efforts in the field of Cyber security in the Arab region.
This came during the official honoring ceremony in its seventeenth edition of the Smart Government Award for the 2022 session, which was organized by the International Excellence Foundation, Florida, United States of America, in Dubai - United Arab Emirates in cooperation with one of the specialized organizations within the framework of the League of Arab States, and in the presence of a representative of the Undersecretary The Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Executive Director of the Economic and Social Commission "ESCWA", Dr. Haider Freihat, and a group of eminent personalities and members of the winning companies.
The award aims to value the mechanisms that were followed to develop smart e-government websites and pages on social media platforms, encourage creativity in their design and invent smart applications for Arab governments to make the most of the global technological revolution in an effort to serve sustainable development in Arab countries, and compete to achieve the goals of excellence and win the award every year. A large number of institutions and companies working in the governmental and private sectors in various countries, where the evaluation is based on a scientific approach based on international experiences and best global practices, as well as supporting local capabilities.
On this occasion, Eng. Ahmed Hanafi, CEO of Digital Plants, expressed his gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for hosting this distinguished honor, and specifically the Emirate of Dubai for embracing success and achievement in various sectors and its unparalleled support for competencies in various countries. He also praised the efforts of the International Excellence Foundation in organizing this prestigious event.
Commenting on the award, Hanafy said: “We are proud today to be the first Egyptian company that deserves the award fifteen years ago, which reflects our success in translating government visions and strategies in the Arab Republic of Egypt in line with the company’s directions.

It is worth noting that "Digital Plants" recently obtained the "ISO 27001" quality certificate for information security, one of the most important globally recognized standards for evaluating information security and the information technology environment, to document information security management systems to reduce security risks and optimize systems quality in the long run.
