Mideast Communication systems (MCS) signs Memorandum of Understanding with United Nation Development Program (UNDP) in Egypt

MCS, the leading value added distributor in security solutions and services, announced signing a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Egypt, in a step to establish joint cooperation between the two parties in developing the skills for the human to cope with the accelerated jobs requirements of the modern Labor market and contribute constructively to raising the skills and awareness about the country's efforts to move forward to digital transformation.
In addition, the new cooperation includes joint action to support the Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Egypt and Africa through a training programs and competitions to reveal the new talents and ideas with an objective to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Alessandro Fracassetti the Resident Representative of UNDP in Egypt and Tarek Shabaka, CEO at MCS at the press conference which included a detailed presentation of MCS's Future vision for training and caliber’s qualifying, and a UNDP presentation for the inclusive growth programs and innovation enhancement.
Commenting on this remarkable statement, Alessandro Fracassetti the Resident Representative of UNDP stated “the MOU that we are signing today is another step in the right direction towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt's Vision 2030. In collaboration with MCS, we build the capabilities of those who are related to digital transformation, and we support companies to create more jobs and opportunities, develop digital skills among youth, foster the entrepreneurship, and enable companies to develop their technologies.
For his part Tarek Shabaka, CEO at MCS expressed his pleasure for cooperating with UNDP saying “we are proud of this partnership that contributes in achieving our future vision and developing the calibers which is considered key milestone on our path to development assuring that we have clear vision and steady steps to enhance our effective role in the training field and modern knowledge transfer to the calibers who have competitive edges to avail the qualified Egyptian calibers and qualifying them to the labor market.
“This cooperation with UNDP goes beyond training and calibers qualifying; it also includes supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship which is the core component in digital transformation and sustainable development.
Worth to be mentioned that the conference is concluded by a panel discussion about the importance of calibers qualifying and enhancing the future of digital Egypt. Mostafa Bekhit; CEO at PAM Inc moderated the panel discussion which included Dr. Hisham Farouk – Consultant at the ministry of high education and scientific research for digital transformation, Dr. Nezar Sami – Consultant for the innovation and entrepreneurship at the UNDP, Eng. Mohamed Mostafa – Business development at Mideast Communication Systems, Eng. Waseem Yousif – MENA Director at Palo Alto Networks, and finally Eng. Bassem Saleh- the regional Sales manager at F5 Networks.
