Siemens Healthineers Egypt, a global leader in medical technology company, announced its participation in the 4th Egyptian International Radiology Conference (EIRC 2025), which took place from 17 to 19 December 2025. This marked the company’s fourth consecutive year of participation, stemming from its role as a strategic partner to Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population and reaffirming its ongoing commitment to supporting the Egyptian healthcare sector through capacity building, knowledge transfer, the introduction of the latest diagnostic technologies, and the promotion of innovation.
On the first day of the conference, H.E. Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, Radiology Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population, visited the company’s booth, where it showcased its portfolio of advanced solutions and technologies supporting precise diagnosis and human capacity building. These included an integrated range of medical technologies across diagnostic imaging and cancer radiation therapy.
Siemens Healthineers’ participation in the fourth edition of the conference reflected its strategic vision to strengthen the capabilities of radiology professionals in Egypt. The participation also highlights comprehensive portfolio, which combines high-resolution medical imaging, AI, and digital technologies to support clinical decision-making, improve diagnostic quality, and enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system, while fostering knowledge exchange and capacity building through a scientific platform that brought together leading local and international experts.

During the conference, Siemens Healthineers delivered a series of specialized sessions and workshops led by its experts on the first and third days, aimed at enhancing clinical skills and practices among radiologists and healthcare professionals. On the first day, the company presented two lectures: the first, “Discover the Power of Tomosynthesis in Mammography,” highlighted the role of 3D imaging in supporting the early detection of breast cancer and improving diagnostic reading accuracy. The second focused on the role of artificial intelligence in radiology, titled “AI in Prostate MRI,” demonstrating how intelligent solutions contribute to more efficient analysis of complex images and support more accurate treatment decisions.
On the third day, Siemens Healthineers organized two specialized workshops led by its experts. The first focused on “Prostate MRI”, emphasizing hands-on training, clinical protocol optimization, and the sharing of global best practices to enhance physicians’ skills in this field. The second workshop focused on cardiac CT and followed a session titled “Seeing the Unseen with Quantum Technology,” offering participants a direct practical experience and the application of advanced technologies to obtain clearer images and more accurate assessments of cardiac conditions.
