In partnership with GIZ, ITIDA has launched the ICT Inclusion Playbook Co-Creation Initiative to strengthen practices for the inclusion of persons with disabilities across the ICT sector.

The kickoff featured opening remarks by Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA**, and Mr. Andreas Ruepp, Deputy Country Director and Cluster Coordinator at GIZ**, with Dr. Khaled Habib, CEO and Co-founder of Fit for Life, presenting the initiative’s roadmap and leading discussions with participating companies.

Bringing together 14 local and international companies, the initiative combines GIZ’s partnership, ITIDA’s engagement with the ICT sector, and consultancy support from Fit for Lifeto develop practical tools and practices that advance inclusive employment and support more inclusive and sustainable workplaces.

Through 15 workshops over the coming year, companies will share their experiences, challenges, and support needs to inform a practical playbook, which will be published online to benefit the wider sector.

This collaborative effort aims to translate inclusion into everyday workplace practices, helping build an ICT sector that offers equal opportunities for all.
