On the sidelines of the 29th Cairo International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa (Cairo ICT), inaugurated by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced the launch of a credit report and creditworthiness inquiry service for individuals via the Egypt Digital Platform. This service is offered in cooperation with the Egyptian Credit Bureau (iScore) and is part of the state's efforts to expand digital services and promote financial inclusion.
This service enables citizens to access their credit data instantly and securely through a reliable digital platform, thus supporting financial awareness and contributing to better debt management.
The new service allows users to obtain a digital credit report that includes details of credit facilities, credit score, and creditworthiness level, with the ability to monitor credit performance and accurately review data through the platform. Citizens can access the Egypt Digital Platform and select the credit report inquiry service under the financing and credit services. They can then complete the verification steps to obtain the report instantly, without needing to visit banks or companies, thus improving access to financial services.
This service is part of the government's plan to integrate financial services within the national digital system, aligning with Egypt's Digital Strategy to achieve a fully integrated digital society.
This service represents a significant addition to the government's digital services system, which now exceeds 200 services. Work is underway to further expand the provision of integrated digital services to citizens in the coming period.
