Zerotech Chargers Now Available on Apple’s Global Platform Egyptian Product Joins Apple’s “Elite Circle” as Zerotech Secures MFi Certification — A First in the Middle East

  • Zerotech Electronics, in cooperation with the Electronics Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, has obtained Apple’s MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad) certification for its range of charging products, including cables and adapters.

Dr. Atef Abu Hashem, Chairman of Zerotech Electronics, stated that this milestone reflects the ability of Egyptian-made products to meet the highest international quality standards.

In an official statement issued on Saturday, Abu Hashem noted that this certification marks a significant precedent, as Zerotech’s mobile charging adapters have successfully met the rigorous requirements of Apple’s MFi program. He described this achievement as a qualitative leap for the electronics manufacturing sector in the region.

He added that the MFi certification is among the most stringent in the technology industry. It is granted by Apple only after a series of precise technical tests that ensure maximum levels of safety, efficiency, and full compatibility with Apple devices. Successfully passing these tests highlights the remarkable advancement in Egypt’s local manufacturing capabilities.

Abu Hashem further emphasized that Zerotech’s certification serves as strong validation that Egyptian products are now capable of competing globally according to the highest standards—particularly in the highly competitive smartphone accessories market.

He also pointed out that this achievement aligns with the country’s broader strategy to localize industry and deepen domestic manufacturing, while enhancing consumer confidence in Egyptian products. It also opens new opportunities for Zerotech to expand into regional and international markets in the near future.

The development reflects a growing upward trajectory for Egypt’s advanced technology sectors, with expectations of increased investments and expansions aimed at positioning Egypt as a regional hub for electronics manufacturing.
