Orange Egypt sponsors Art D’Egypte Exhibition For the 2nd Year in a Row

    The exhibition will take place for 3 weeks under the patronage of the Ministry of Antiquities and UNESCO

    Orange Egypt, the fastest network in Egypt, announced its sponsorship of Art D’Egypte exhibition 2019 for the second year in a row, with the aim of supporting the cultural and art scene in Egypt and encouraging tourism in Egypt. The exhibition will take place at Al Moez Ldin Allah Al Fatmi Street in Al Azhar district in Downtown Cairo. 

     

    Orange Egypt was keen to sponsor the exhibition for two consecutive years as part of its CSR to support the development of the Egyptian society where lectures and seminars are being held by art pioneers around the world. Moreover, students of public and private schools and owners of art projects in universities are welcomed to attend the event, as well as those who are interested in fine arts in general.

     

    Orange Egypt believes in the importance of art in improving the public taste, and educating them about Egypt's historical and civilizational treasures that ensures its global leadership.

    “We believe in the role of artistic activities as Art is the language that unites people and reaches out to them despite different cultures,” said Hala Abdel-Wadood, Head of Public Relations & Corporate Social Responsibility at Orange Egypt. 

     

    “Orange's sponsorship of such an event comes within the framework of the company's ongoing efforts to build bridges of creative thinking and provide development opportunities especially among younger generations”, Abdel Wadood added. 

     

    During The event Al Moez Street, which has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, will be transformed into an open art museum besides being an open museum of Islamic art and archeology. The Egyptian art pieces will be displayed in 4 different historical places in the street.

     

    The exhibition’s program includes a community engagement program entitled "Heritage guards” for educating the youth of the neighborhood about their surrounding heritage and their role in protecting and respecting it.

    Moreover, the exhibition allows art students to volunteer as Tour guides during the exhibition, and they shall receive certificates of expertise.

     

    There will be exclusive celebrations attended by international guests as well as esteemed intellectuals, artists, social activists, institutions’ and museums’ representatives, collectors, gallerists, public figures, philanthropists, businessmen and women.
