& Egypt Foundation announced its partnership with the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation to launch a comprehensive healthcare initiative that includes organizing and sponsoring a number of medical convoys across villages and underserved areas of Sharqia Governorate. This initiative comes as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting community development and supporting efforts to improve healthcare services for citizens in need.

The initiative aims to deliver a series of medical convoys across villages and remote areas of Sharqia Governorate, to provide integrated healthcare services to more than 4,200 beneficiaries across over eight medical specialties, with medications provided free of charge. In addition, health awareness programs are organized to benefit more than 3,150 individuals, focusing on the importance of early detection and disease prevention.

In early September 2025, Sharqia Governorate witnessed the launch and full implementation of the initiative’s six medical convoys, marking the transition from the planning phase to complete on-the-ground execution. The convoys reached several villages and districts, including Al Zahraa in Zagazig, Koshik, Al Balashon and Al Katiba in Belbeis, Al Sahafa in Mashtoul El Souk, and Senhwa in Minya Al Qamh.

Mrs. Ola Ismail, CEO and Founder of the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation, stated: “We are proud to collaborate with e& Egypt Foundation on this initiative, which contributes to expanding the reach of our free medical services to the most underserved villages and communities. Our shared vision is built on ensuring that every citizen, regardless of location, has access to quality healthcare. We are confident that this partnership will create a tangible impact in improving the quality of life for thousands of families in Sharqia Governorate.”

For its part, Ahmed Imbabi, Brand and Communications Director at e& Egypt, said: "This initiative embodies our commitment to enhancing our community impact by providing integrated health services to the areas in need. Our collaboration with the Ibrahim Ahmed Badran Foundation reflects our vision at e& Egypt that sustainable development includes the health and quality of life of citizens, and we are committed to actively contributing to improving health services and promoting medical awareness in villages and rural communities.”

This partnership with the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation – a non-profit charitable organization established in 2014 – comes in line with its continued efforts to provide free healthcare services to underserved areas through mobile medical convoys and fixed clinics, with the participation of a dedicated team of doctors and volunteers.

The initiative underscores e& Egypt’s commitment to fostering collaboration between the private sector and civil society organizations to achieve sustainable community impact and to support the improvement of healthcare services for citizens in rural and remote areas.
