The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) hosted a training course titled “Introduction to Customer Experience Management for Telecommunications Services” on April 27–29, at the Egyptian African Telecom Regulatory Training Center (EG-ATRC). The course was attended by 38 participants from different countries.
Sessions explored a range of topics, including the quality of telecommunications services and key performance indicators, along with regulatory considerations, practical approaches to managing customer experience, and handling escalated complaints.
The training formed part of NTRA’s efforts to provide guidance and support in telecommunications regulation and to strengthen the capabilities of regulatory bodies at both regional and international levels, supporting the shift toward sustainable digital transformation.
EG-ATRC is the first specialized facility of its kind in Africa, dedicated to telecommunications regulation. It serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge across ICT fields and is a certified training provider under the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Academy. This underscores its role in advancing the capabilities of regulatory authorities across the continent, equipping them to address sector challenges and develop the expertise needed to build a competitive digital economy.
