Within the Egyptian Pavilion: MCS participates in the “Black Hat Middle East and Africa 2023” exhibition and conference in Riyadh

    The Middle East Information Technology Services Company (MCS), the regional distributor and consulting partner for cybersecurity solutions and products in Egypt and the African continent, revealed today its participation in the Egyptian pavilion organized by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in partnership with Dispatch Egypt at the Black Hat Middle East and Africa Exhibition and Conference. and Africa 2023, which specializes in the field of cybersecurity and is organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, in cooperation with Informa, from November 14-16 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center.

    For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Vice President of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for Cybersecurity Affairs, said: “We are happy with the Egyptian participation, which will allow the Saudi market to closely learn about the ambitious Egyptian government vision in the field of the cybersecurity industry, in addition to this distinguished event is a good opportunity to shed light.” We focus on the Egyptian expertise and private sector efforts of participating companies, such as MCS, in supporting the industry, which has become a major component of the digital transformation system and one of the steps to reaching the sustainable development goals.”

    He added: Our participation in the Black Hat Middle East and Africa Exhibition and Conference 2023 comes from our full awareness of the importance of being present in regional forums that would allow all those working in the field of cybersecurity in Egypt to open new markets for services and consultations, transfer local knowledge, exchange human experiences, and learn about modern trends in the industry. ".

    For his part, Engineer Tariq Shabaka, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MCS, said: “We are proud to participate in the second session of the Black Hat Middle East and Africa Exhibition and Conference under the umbrella of the Egyptian Pavilion, which is organized by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), explaining that this presence “It reflects the special care given to the cybersecurity sector in Egypt and the keenness of all those responsible for it to follow the latest global developments, identify successive changes in the field of cybersecurity, and transfer local expertise and government efforts in a regional message that reflects the future development of this industry.”

    He added our keenness to participate to discuss new investment opportunities available in the Saudi market, which is one of the largest markets in the region in the field of cybersecurity, as global expectations indicate the growth of this industry to reach $5.6 billion by the end of 2023, thanks to support for strengthening digital infrastructure and digital transformation. Within Saudi Vision 2030, he explained that today we are facing a distinguished experience that allows us to transfer our technical expertise that has lasted for more than 15 years in this industry outside the African continent and expand into various countries of the Arab region in general and the Saudi market in particular.”

    It should be noted that the Black Hat Middle East and Africa 2023 exhibition and conference is being held for the second year in a row and is an integrated platform that includes a variety of activities and events specialized in the field of cybersecurity, such as workshops, discussion sessions, and a review of strategic business development visions.
