Vodafone Egypt has launched a new software system for network frequency technologies in cooperation with Huawei. The new system is the world's first algorithm (AIF) for TDD Massive MIMO network frequency technology. This new technology is a significant qualitative leap to improve network performance, connection speed and quality of service, with the aim of providing a distinguished customer experience and increasing coverage efficiency.

The AIF algorithm is considered a significant global achievement and a major advancement in the telecommunications industry in Egypt and the world, and reflects Vodafone Egypt's commitment to using the latest technologies to enhance its network performance. Thanks to the improved Massive MIMO technology, the company will be able to significantly increase network capacity and ensure a strong and stable user experience.

Vodafone Egypt has made intensive efforts in the field of research and development for more than a year in cooperation with its partners to develop Massive MIMO technology, which directly contributed to achieving this new technological achievement. Indeed, this technology was successfully applied for the first time globally in Egypt.

As the largest frequency holder in Egypt, having invested $540 million to acquire frequencies in the 2600 band with TDD, Vodafone Egypt continues to enhance its infrastructure to meet its customers’ requirements using the latest technological solutions. At the same time, these developments will contribute to raising the operational efficiency of the network and its coverage, and improving the quality of data transmission, applications and voice calls, which contributes to providing a comprehensive and distinctive experience for its customers and reflects its commitment to continuous development and providing them with the best services.
