CIRA Education (CIRA.CA on the Egyptian Stock Exchange), Egypt’s leading fully integrated private education provider, is proud to announce a strategic partnership between Saxony Egypt University (SEU)—a joint venture between CIRA and Al Ahly Capital—and the Education Development Fund (EDF). The collaboration is designed to prepare Egyptian graduates for employment in Germany’s technical and vocational sectors through specialized training and certification.
Under the agreement, SEU will serve as the certified accreditation body, responsible for defining German language proficiency benchmarks, delivering tailored technical and vocational skills training programs, and maintaining direct communication with German stakeholders to secure opportunities for school graduates seeking to enter the German labor market.
EDF will support the initiative by compiling a comprehensive database of eligible graduates and vocational specialties aligned with German labor market needs, coordinating with national authorities, managing travel procedures and logistics, and providing financial support for program implementation.
The official signing ceremony was held on August 25th at the headquarters of the Education Development Fund, marking the launch of a transformative chapter in Egypt’s vocational education strategy. With SEU’s academic leadership and EDF’s institutional backing, the program is poised to become a benchmark for international workforce development.
“Our responsibility is to ensure that every candidate is fully prepared, linguistically and technically, to meet the demands of the German labor market,” said Khaled Taha, Vice President of SIS Middle East. “This partnership enables us to deliver rigorous, practical training that leads directly to employment opportunities abroad.”
“EDF is committed to empowering Egyptian youth by facilitating access to global job markets,” commented Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund. “By managing logistics, coordinating with authorities, and funding the program, we are laying the groundwork for a scalable, sustainable model of international workforce development.”
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, President of Saxony Egypt University, added: “This collaboration is a strategic leap toward aligning Egypt’s technical talent with global labor market needs, particularly in high-demand sectors across Germany.”
