Meanwhile, preparations and final arrangements are proceeding rapidly at the Grand Egyptian Museum, coinciding with the opening ceremony which began yesterday and is eagerly anticipated by the world. Work is underway on three main levels: the level of preparations for the opening ceremony, including organizational and reception details to ensure a spectacular event befitting Egypt's name and stature; the level of archaeological preparations within the museum, where the team is putting the finishing touches on the artifacts, arranging and cleaning them in the various exhibition halls, as part of the museum's display plan that showcases the masterpieces of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages in a modern and sophisticated manner; and the level of maintenance work currently being carried out to ensure the readiness of the infrastructure, facilities, and technical services related to the visitor experience.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, continues his periodic and continuous monitoring to stay informed about all the final preparations and arrangements, through continuous inspection tours of the museum, which will continue over the few remaining days before the opening, including monitoring the work being done inside the various exhibition halls, and all other organizational arrangements.
