The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is accepting applications for the “Innovation Bridge: Egypt × Japan,” a six-month program organized in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It connects Egyptian startups with leading Japanese companies to develop and validate technology solutions through real-world Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects addressing business needs, while creating pathways to international partnerships and market expansion.
The program features seven collaboration themes:
- Digital traceability for e-scrap recycling
- AI-powered production planning
- Data-driven marketing for pharmacies
- Digital channels for commercial fleet insurance expansion
- Digital solutions for SME insurance expansion
- Egypt as an anime production base
- Traceability and fan intelligence for authorized IP
Selected startups get direct access to leading Japanese corporates and ITIDA's ecosystem support, and can run a real-world PoC of about six months, with possible JICA funding for approved activities paid out against milestones.
The deadline for applications is October 17. To apply, kindly click here.
