The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), part of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has concluded the 2026 edition of InnovEgypt program, with the participation of 5,300 trainees from 23 governorates.
The program featured 85 training camps involving 667 teams, bringing the total number of program beneficiaries to more than 40,000 students and graduates since its launch in 2013.
InnovEgypt is part of ITIDA’s efforts to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. It prepares university students and graduates to become the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs by equipping them with practical knowledge, accumulated expertise, and best practices in innovation and technology entrepreneurship, while developing the skills they need to turn their ideas into innovative projects.
The program combines interactive training with workshops and covers three main modules: Innovation and Technology Management, Design Thinking, and Entrepreneurship 101.
The training activities were delivered in collaboration with several partners, trainers, and host organizations, including Creativa Innovation Hubs and the TIEC Innovation Ambassador network, which contributed to implementing the activities and supporting trainees.
Established by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in 2010, TIEC aims to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the ICT sector and enable individuals and businesses to harness the potential of technology. Its work supports the sector’s growth, contributes to sustainable development, and reinforces Egypt’s position as a regional hub for innovation.
