The ranking is based on Q3 data for the global smartphone market released by well-known international market research entities, Canalys and the International Data Corporation (IDC).
Numbers from both entities indicated that vivo’s mobile phone shipments remained among the top five in the world. Meanwhile, the Canalys data indicated that vivo ranked fifth worldwide, with 31.8 million shipments and a market share of 9.1 percent.
