For the second consecutive year, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has won 8 awards at the 12th Annual Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards 2020 in San Francisco, USA. This is a new achievement that underlines DEWA’s leadership in innovation and excellence. DEWA won the Grand Award, 4 Golds, one Silver and 2 Bronze awards.
DEWA received the Grand Award for its overall excellence in various categories. It won Gold in the Information Technology Innovation category for its SAP portal revamp, Gold in the Information Technology (Services) Innovation category for its unified smart payment, Gold in the Achievement - Engineering and Technology category for Creative Technologies for Drone Show, Gold in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category for creative and interactive techniques of Information Security awareness, Silver in the Information Technology Project or Initiative of the Year category for migrating its SAP landscape to Hana for corporate cloud computing at the Data Hub Integrated Solutions LLC (Moro), Bronze in the Company Innovation of the Year category for enabling 100% work from distance, and another Bronze for its Centralised Platform (solution) to track corporate performance.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, commended the new global achievement, which adds to DEWA’s track record of prestigious awards. It is a testament to DEWA’s determination and hard work to lead the race towards the future and carry on the development and excellence journey under all circumstances.
