The organizing committee of the FDC Summit events revealed the participation of civil society institutions specialized in the communications and information technology sector, namely the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Industry (CIT), Etisal Association, the General Division of Digital Economy and the Egypt Internet Association as partners for the industry during the activities of the fifth session, which is held under the auspices and in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Technology Information in the period from 9-11 May in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The summit is scheduled to witness a discussion session with the participation of chairmen of boards of directors under the title "Civil Society Institutions that Support the Future of Industry and Catalyst for Companies in Digital Transformation" to discuss the role of civil society institutions in achieving the government's visions and the requirements of the private sector.
For his part, Eng. Tariq Shabaka, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said: “We are proud to announce the largest participation of specialized civil society institutions during the FDC summit activities for the current year, explaining that this partnership would contribute to achieving the aspirations of the summit that aims to develop the industry with the participation of parties from international companies.” And local government agencies and development institutions in pursuit of Egypt's Vision 2030.
For his part, Engineer Khalid Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "CIT", said, "We are pleased to announce our participation in the activities of the fifth session of the FDC Summit, which plays a pivotal role in the process of digital transformation in the region, explaining that the participation of the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Industry as a sponsor of the digital industry in this event seeks to Enhancing cooperation between civil society organizations and the private sector, facilitating the process of digital transformation and technology transfer, and improving the level of services provided to users and the technological community as a whole.
For his part, Eng. On the other hand, Eng. Khalil Hassan Khalil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Division of Digital Economy, confirmed: “The FDC summit and similar conferences are among the important and essential channels in providing a means of acquaintance and cooperation between local expertise and some, as well as with international expertise, which leads to the development of companies, raising efficiency and increasing the volume of business.” And support the competitiveness of companies and expand the local and foreign markets, explaining that the division's participation as a sponsor of the industry in an effort to spread support and expand the base of beneficiaries of Egyptian companies and to activate the vision of Egypt 2030 within the framework of the Egyptian state's efforts to spread the digital transformation system and the transformation into a cashless society.
