With the attendance of Lieutant General Kamel El Wazer, Minister of Transportation, Huawei showcased it full force in Cairo ICT 2019 with its latest technologies varied from 5G and AI to digital transformation solutions in various sectors including Smart Transportation, Smart Banking, Smart Campus, Smart Cities, Smart Energy, and more. Huawei also launched its latest star products in the Egyptian market including AI- Powered All-flash OceanStor Dorado, which is the industry fastest intelligent all-flash storage.
Lieutant General Kamel El Wazer, Minister of Transportation, praised Huawei’s smart technology presented in Huawei’s transportation booth and he highlighted the importance of maximizing the use of wired and wireless information and communication technologies in surveillance, control, and recruiting this technology in national projects such as smart transportation. He stressed on the importance of maximizing the local components of those technological solutions.

On the sidelines of Cairo ICT, and part of Huawei’s vision to empower the local ecosystem, Huawei signed today a distribution contract with Mantrac Distribution to be Huawei’s Enterprise value added distributor in Egypt.
