The activities of the 28th edition of the Egypt International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa, Cairo ICT'24, will start under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, during the period from November 17 to 20, 2024, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, and under the patronage and sponsorship of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
The activities of Cairo ICT'24 are organized by Trade Fairs International and United Media Services, and will be launched under the slogan "The Next Wave", where the next wave of technological progress and the latest technologies and future trends that will reshape industries, economies and societies will be discovered, with the attendance of major global institutions and technology leaders.
The 28th session is being held with a 50% increase in the number of participants compared to last year. Cairo ICT’24 activities include a group of leading exhibitions, most notably the 11th PAFIX Exhibition and Conference for Payment Technology and Digital Inclusion sponsored by the Central Bank of Egypt, the 6th IntelliCities International Exhibition for Smart Cities and Digital Infrastructure, the 3rd Satcom Exhibition for Satellite Communications, and the 4th Connecta International Exhibition for Youth Technology, which will include the first forum for innovative women Shennovates for ages 14 to 24. This year’s session will also launch the first AIDC Exhibition and Conference of its kind in Africa and the Middle East, for artificial intelligence, data centers and cloud computing, as the sector is growing significantly, and the value of the Middle East and Africa market is expected to reach more than $14 billion by 2028, with a compound annual increase of approximately 10%. AIDC exhibition includes a large group of exhibitors from major institutions, companies and service providers in the data centers and artificial intelligence sector.
The AIDC conference sessions discuss a range of topics, most notably the integration between artificial intelligence and data centers, its innovations and applications, data center management, emerging technologies and future data centers, AI ethics and governance, and the future of artificial intelligence and automation.
The Cairo ICT’24 conference activities also witness, over the course of 4 days, a large group of workshops, discussion sessions and dialogue meetings with experts, leaders and technology innovators from all over the world, to discuss many vital topics, most notably the new era of artificial intelligence and its impact on data centers, practical training on protecting digital assets, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, building smart cities and integrating innovation in the Internet of Things.
Among the most prominent topics that Cairo ICT’24 will discuss are the impact of artificial intelligence on cloud computing and data centers, big data analytics, exploring the new generation of communications, in addition to topics of satellite technology innovations and future design, as well as addressing artificial intelligence and machine learning with a practical experience on real-world applications. The exhibition is sponsored by Dell Technologies, E-Finance Group for Financial and Digital Investments, CIB Egypt, Huawei, Orange Egypt, EgyptAir, in addition to Telecom Egypt, MasterCard, Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and Fortinet.
