Osama Kamal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Trade Fairs International", the organizer of the activities of the twenty-eighth session of the Egypt International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa "Cairo ICT'24", during the period from November 17 to 20, 2024, confirmed that it will be held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, where it may be inaugurated by Mr. President or Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and under the patronage and sponsorship of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and a number of ministers.
Kamal indicated in response to a question from "Alam Rakamy " that the great support from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was a turning point in achieving a tangible positive leap for the "Cairo ICT" exhibition and emphasizing the Egyptian state's commitment to the digital transformation process to keep pace with global developments, improve the investment environment, and exploit the opportunities provided by the information and communications technology sector to attract regional and global investments.
Hence, we look forward, under his patronage of the next session of the exhibition, for Mr. President to inaugurate "2024 Cairo ICT", especially since he personally inaugurated its activities 7 times, and launched several local and regional initiatives through it to support plans and strategies for digital transformation in Egypt and the countries of the Middle East and Africa. Strong participation In response to a question from " Alam Rakamy " about the importance of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology returning to the exhibition, Kamal confirmed that the current session will witness a strong return of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with a distinguished pavilion, after the absence of 4 previous sessions.
The participation of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, will also constitute a strong boost to all activities of both the exhibition and the conference, as all bodies and entities affiliated with the ministry will be present, as the company "Egyptian For Communications "in 3 locations in the exhibition, in addition to the participation of the "National Telecom Regulatory Authority", the "Egyptian Post" Authority and the "ITIDA" Authority.
In response to a question from " Alam Rakamy " about how to maximize the benefit from the exhibition in promoting regionally and globally investment opportunities in the communications sector and the Egyptian economy, Kamal confirmed that the exhibition will witness the participation of many international and local information technology and communications companies, and of course we welcome the presence of visitors and experts from foreign countries to learn about the extent of the achievements that have been made in recent years in all fields and economic sectors, especially the information technology and communications sector and digital transformation, explaining that the exhibition has succeeded in establishing itself as one of the most important events in Egypt and the Middle East and Africa region, which technology companies await to announce their latest solutions and applications by helping business institutions keep pace with global developments in the field of digital transformation.

The exhibition indicated that this year it will offer special activities targeting young people in a new hall that includes innovative events, especially for girls starting from the age of 14, explaining that the hall was designed to encourage more girls to participate, especially after noting that their participation rate in previous events has declined to less than 20%, a percentage that the exhibition seeks to raise to 50%.
