E-Finance, a subsidiary of E-Finance Group for Financial and Digital Investments, revealed its new strategic expansions in the cloud computing services sector by announcing the launch of a new regional center in Alexandria. The new center will operate independently from the current regional center in Cairo, enhancing the ability to provide reliable and more diverse cloud services to customers across the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially customers wishing to host their services in a strategic location on the Mediterranean coast.
This center is a strategic addition to the company's expansion plan to expand the scope of its cloud services, as the new center can also act as a backup center for the regional center in Cairo in the event of any emergency, ensuring business continuity and reliability of cloud services. It also includes advanced solutions for disaster recovery
including (DRaaS) services, which are offered with flexibility in management options, ranging from full management to self-management, allowing customers to choose the level of control and support that best suits their operational and technical needs.
This expansion confirms the company's commitment to providing integrated and secure cloud services, while providing a flexible infrastructure that supports the needs of various institutions in terms of high performance and continuous availability.
The new cloud region in Alexandria is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2025, continuing E-Finance Cloud's commitment to providing innovative and sustainable cloud services that raise the level of support and availability for customers.
For his part, Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman and Managing Director of E-Finance Group for Financial and Digital Investments, said that the new expansions of the cloud computing sector from E-Finance aim to continue growth and integration to provide all available global services and capabilities in the field of cloud computing and data centers, so that E-Finance Cloud becomes the largest national government-certified provider of integrated cloud computing services from within Egypt.
He added that the companies, institutions, and vital government and private sectors targeted by the cloud services of "E-Finance" require the standards of these services to reach the highest global level of quality, security, integration, reliability, and development, exceeding or equaling the best cloud services provided worldwide, and surpassing that by being national on Egyptian soil in accordance with the regulations, laws, and procedures in force in this regard.
