New integration uses automation and AI to connect payments and accounting, helping business owners reduce manual work and manage their finances more efficiently

Ziina, the UAE homegrown consumer and business financial platform, has partnered with skrooge.ai, an AI powered accounting and tax service for UAE businesses, to make financial management more connected and efficient for businesses.
Business owners often manage payments, invoicing, accounting and tax across separate tools, creating fragmented workflows and manual work. The new integration brings two key parts of that financial workflow together, automatically syncing Ziina transactions with skrooge.ai and using automation and AI to reduce the work involved in keeping financial records up to date.
Once businesses connect their Ziina Business Account to skrooge.ai, all new Ziina transactions are automatically synced to their books. Business owners can see revenue in real time, reconcile payments and keep their financial records current without manually moving transaction data between systems.
The partnership is part of Ziina’s broader focus on building a financial platform around how businesses in the UAE live, work and transact. SMEs account for nearly 95% of companies operating in the UAE, more than 85% of private sector jobs and 63% of GDP, according to the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.

The integration supports businesses across different payment workflows. Businesses that invoice clients can add Ziina payment links directly to skrooge.ai invoices, with payment status updated when an invoice is paid.
For businesses that receive payments before issuing an invoice, such as restaurants and hotels, Skrooge can generate the corresponding invoice after payment and match it to the transaction.
Businesses can also use Skrooge through WhatsApp or Telegram to create invoices with Ziina payment links, check paid invoices and send payment reminders.
For Ziina, the integration extends its role in the financial lives of businesses beyond accepting and moving money.
