Majid Al Futtaim, the leading pioneer in shopping malls, communities, retail, and leisure across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, marked Orphans’ Day with a heartwarming initiative that delivered meaningful and joyful experiences to 325 children across its malls, including Mall of Egypt, City Centre Almaza, City Centre Alexandria, and City Centre Maadi.
Held in collaboration with local NGOs Shabab Masryin, Al Balsam Al Shafi, and Kafalat Al Yateem Khair Foundations, this annual event aimed to spread happiness and create lasting memories, reaffirming Majid Al Futtaim’s ongoing commitment to uplifting the communities it serves.
The celebration offered a fun-filled day packed with specially curated entertainment and activities. From exciting movie screenings at VOX Cinemas and action-packed games at Magic Planet to ice skating at Ski Egypt, gravity-defying thrills at Gravity Code, and interactive play zones at Stay & Play—every experience was thoughtfully designed to spark joy, wonder, and lasting memories.
The day was further enriched by delicious meals generously provided across all malls, with several tenant partners adding a special touch to the celebration. These included Buffalo Burger, Chili’s, Tarboush, Brew & Chew, Ebn El Balad, La Poire, Caribou Coffee, Holmes & Tomato Pie, Cinnabon, iFruit, Sweets Factory, Rose Paris, and Plodan El Sham.
Adding to the festivities, the children were gifted new clothes and toys—heartfelt gestures that brought a meaningful touch to their joyful day. These unforgettable moments were made possible through the generous support of retail partners including Khoyot, ElKady Jewelry, Fouad Ahmed Jewelry, Fouad Shousha Jewelry, and Seven Secret, whose contributions helped transform the celebration into a truly memorable experience for every child.
