Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader, launched the first edition of the ‘Ignite on Tour’ event in Egypt today, convening cybersecurity professionals and technology leaders at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The event featured keynote sessions, hands-on AI demos, and panel discussions on the evolving threat landscape and the role of AI in cybersecurity.
The attendees also had the opportunity to engage with experts from Palo Alto Networks and other industry leaders, gaining insights into the latest advancements in cybersecurity and strategies to protect against emerging threats.
Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt, emphasized on the importance of cybersecurity in Egypt’s digital transformation. “In today’s digital era, cybersecurity is not just a technical priority - it is a national imperative. The event also featured a fireside chat with Thierry Karsenti, VP of EMEA LATAM Technical Solutions at Palo Alto Networks, and a comprehensive overview of the AI-driven threat landscape by Eric Semaan, VP and Senior Consulting Director at Unit 42. Attendees engaged in discussions on leveraging AI-enabled platforms to fortify defenses and achieve real-time, autonomous outcomes in cybersecurity.
