Nikon Middle East FZE is pleased to announce that its full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z 6, and its high-performance standard zoom lens, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, are the respective recipients of the EISA Camera of the Year 2019-2020 and the EISA Professional Standard Zoom Lens 2019-2020 awards, presented by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).
EISA comments on the reasons the Nikon Z 6 was selected as the EISA Camera of the Year 2019-2020
With the Z 6 (released in November 2018), Nikon has made a superb camera with sensational handling and robust build quality that delivers excellent images in almost any shooting situation. Its autofocus system includes Eye-Detection AF, allowing accurate focus wherever the subject is placed in the frame. The large and sharp electronic viewfinder provides a truly accurate preview of how your images will turn out, while in-body image stabilization helps keep your pictures sharp with every lens you can use, including F mount DSLR optics. Quite simply, this is the best all-round camera that serious photographers can buy right now.
The Nikon Z 6 is a full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless camera for which the Nikon Z mount was adopted. It is equipped with a backside illumination Nikon FX-format CMOS sensor with built-in focal-plane phase-detection AF pixels. It has an effective pixel count of 24.5 megapixels and supports an incredible ISO 100–51200*1 range of standard sensitivities. It is also equipped with the new EXPEED 6 image-processing engine, which enables extremely sharp and clear rendering. In addition, the Z 6 utilizes a new hybrid AF system with 273*2 focus points that provide good coverage of the imaging area—approximately 90% both horizontally and vertically—for quick and accurate focusing well-suited to a variety of conditions. With additional support for full-frame 4K UHD movie recording with which data from all pixels in the frame is read out, the Z 6 is an all-round camera that is comfortable, practical and durable offering the best image Quality and responds to a wide variety of needs.
