-Luxor University: Organizing the summit for the first time to localize entrepreneurship and help emerging companies in the governorate

Dr. Hamdi Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University, confirmed that the university is working to graduate technological cadres and provide them for the labor market, encourage innovation and creativity in various research and practical fields, work to find solutions to issues of society and the surrounding environment, and link practical and research colleges with the surrounding environment to implement projects that serve bodies and help To develop in various research fields, and link them to the fields of environment, energy, software, and artificial intelligence.

This came during the opening of the activities of the “Digital Innovation Summit”, which was organized by the College of Computers and Information under the leadership of Dr. Osama Abu Al-Nasr, Dean of the College, under the slogan “Towards a Sustainable Environment”, in the Roman Theater of the Egyptian Public Library, in the presence of Dr. Adel Zein El-Din, President of Taibah University of Technology, and Dr. Mohamed Raslan, Vice President of Taiba University of Technology, Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Director of the Public Library of Egypt, deans of Luxor University faculties, deputies, faculty members, and a group of labor market experts.

He added that creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, along the lines of the theme of the Innovation Summit, have become a major driver for advanced and sustainable economic development, pointing out the university’s keenness to develop the culture and thinking skills of entrepreneurship, as well as enhancing the competitive capabilities of its students in line with the requirements and needs of the labor market, explaining that the university adopts the latest Technologies to develop the educational process and achieve excellence and success, strive for global competition, and seek to provide more training opportunities for its students.

He explained that the university is very interested in developing the level of its students, as we always strive to open the field of communication with the authorities concerned with the students in order to provide them with the tools and equipment that help them implement their ideas in a practical way that benefits the students on the one hand and the labor market on the other hand, indicating that graduation projects in the College of Engineering come as a result of years of study and aim to develop Students' abilities to design projects in various fields and their applications in practical life, and gives graduates the ability to use modern technology and provide solutions to issues of society and the surrounding environment.
