 inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with BluEV, a company specializing in electric mobility solutions, to support new ride-hailing (RH) drivers across Egypt through its platform. The partnership aims to provide opportunities that can help drivers reduce operating costs and improve their earnings, while offering eligible BluEV customers a package of incentives and benefits when they join the inDrive platform.

The partnership reflects both inDrive and BluEV’s commitment to supporting drivers with solutions that can improve operational efficiency and help them retain more of their earnings, while also supporting the transition towards more sustainable transportation. Drivers using BluEV-powered electric e-bikes on the inDrive platform can achieve up to 30% savings on total cost of ownership, helping them retain a larger share of their earnings.

Electric e-bikes can also contribute to cleaner and quieter urban environments. They produce no tailpipe CO₂ emissions during operation and generate less noise compared with conventional internal combustion engine motorcycles, contributing to mobility solutions that are better suited to the evolving needs of cities and communities.

Under the partnership, customers who purchase BluEV-powered electric e-bikes and register as new drivers on the inDrive platform will be eligible to receive financial incentives equivalent to one full month of inDrive commission, as well as one full month of BluEV battery-swapping subscription, upon meeting the performance criteria agreed upon by both parties.

The incentive will be distributed across two consecutive two-week periods rather than being provided upfront.

From inDrive:

Eligible drivers who meet the required performance criteria during the first two weeks will receive the first portion of the incentive, while drivers who maintain the required performance level during the following two weeks will receive the second portion.

From BluEV:

Eligible drivers will receive a free two-week subscription to BluEV’s battery-swapping service after purchasing a BluEV-powered electric e-bike and verifying their registration on the inDrive platform. They will also have the opportunity to extend their free subscription for an additional two weeks if they meet the required performance criteria on the inDrive platform.

The partnership is available in all cities where BluEV operates battery-swapping stations, giving eligible BluEV customers the opportunity to join the inDrive ride-hailing platform and benefit from the incentive program, alongside the operational advantages offered by electric e-bikes.

The initiative reflects the commitment of both inDrive and BluEV to supporting and developing accessible and sustainable mobility solutions, while creating new opportunities for individuals looking to enter the ride-hailing sector through electric mobility. By doing so, the partnership aims to help drivers reduce operating costs while contributing to cleaner and quieter urban environments.
