Benya Raqmeya, a Benya Group company, announced today the appointment of Mohamed Masoud as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Masoud brings a wealth of industry know-how and ICT experience from the span of his 24 year career and has a solid track record for his contributions to large digital transformation programs across the globe. The new appointment comes as Benya, the leading company in the ICT sector in Egypt and MEA, recently announced the launch of its digital marketplace targeting to be the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa. Benya Raqmeya empowers companies and institutions across all sectors of the economy to benefit from the opportunities arising from digital transformation. The inauguration of the platform was launched in July 2020 in collaboration with technology leaders such as SAP, Microsoft, Honeywell, Dell and Cisco. The products and services will be offered through partnerships with IT and telecom providers in Egypt and the region. The offering will also include a FINTECH hub offering micro-finance, consumer finance and digital insurance services in collaboration with banks. Prior to joining Benya Raqmeya, Masoud was in charge of the largest digital transformation program in the Middle East involving companies across 12 different industries with investments exceeding 2B EGP. Masoud was also part of the management team of Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) for 15 years, where he managed IT and service development programs globally.
