Jumia Egypt, the leading e-commerce platform has partnered with the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the largest governmental bank in Egypt, to offer 12 months installment services without any interests on all Jumia orders NBE consumers and credit card holders to benefit from.
“Jumia Egypt’s vision conforms with the NBE strategy in strengthening the efforts towards financial inclusion and reducing the use of physical cash. We intend to focus more on digital payments and electronic services, especially after the launching of the Tech Center in Egypt, which will provide new fintech solutions soon.” said Jumia Egypt CEO, Hesham Safwat.
Hesham expressed his satisfaction in the partnership which has made Jumia shoppers embrace cashless payments and ‘buy-now-pay-later’ experience through NBE.
