The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5”S, the first tablet to feature the new generation PaperMatte Display, is now available in stores and online. Packed with features designed for creatives and professionals alike, the MatePad 11.5"S aims to bridge the gap between traditional and digital artistry. The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S comes in three colours: Violet, Space Grey, and Silver Frost.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5” S is now available for purchase on the 31st of July in the HUAWEI Experience Store, online stores and select retailers.
The new generation PaperMatte Display featured on the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5”S offers a paper-like texture that reduces eye strain and provides a more natural writing and drawing experience. Through a multi-layer nanoscale process and display optimizations, PaperMatte Display significantly reduces glare and emits a soft light that's easy on the eyes. It eliminates approximately 99% of light interference and reduces screen reflectivity to 2%, resulting in clearer images with improved screen transmittance of up to 95%. Users can enjoy the high resolution and vibrant colours without sacrificing visual comfort. This 11.5-inch HD FullView Display of the tablet boasts a remarkable 87% screen-to-body ratio and supports HDR Vivid. The 2.8K resolution along with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz ensures that every detail is crystal-clear and beautiful.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S, when paired with the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation) powered by NearLink, delivers a superior drawing and writing experience. The nano-level etching on the PaperMatte Display simulates the texture of paper, creating an ideal surface for using the M-Pencil. This offers a resistance similar to writing on paper. The PaperMatte Display provides a refreshingly tactile, natural, and joyful writing experience. The M-Pencil supports 10,000+ pressure levels and features a handwriting acceleration algorithm, resulting in ultra-low latency for smooth and responsive performance.
The adaptive pressure-sensing curve of the new M-Pencil optimizes strokes for both drawing and writing, ensuring versatility for various creative tasks. Additionally, the M-Pencil comes with two interchangeable pen tips: a harder, transparent tip ideal for drawing and a softer, non-transparent tip with added resistance for writing. Users can easily switch between these tips to suit their specific needs.
This tablet also supports the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, also powered by NearLink. The keyboard is detachable and supports magnetic pairing and more than 40 shortcuts. It has three forms and is suitable for diverse applications, such as work, creativity, and entertainment.
The GoPaint app developed by Huawei makes its debut on the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S, providing an authentic, professional, efficient, and user-friendly painting experience. Designed for both professional creators and hobbyists, the app offers a natural drawing experience with over 100 brushes, including customized Arabic Calligraphy Brushes praised by renowned artist Mohammed Mandi. The FangTian Painting Engine ensures silky-smooth creation with multiple layers, low latency, and a high frame rate. Additionally, smart and convenient tools like curve correction and willow leaf further enhance the creative experience, allowing users to paint to their heart's content.
The HUAWEI MatePad 11.5"S also features HUAWEI Notes, a professional note-taking app developed by Huawei. With new features like widgets, Instant Shape, and an exclusive Huawei Note format, note-taking becomes more convenient and effortless. One standout feature is Note Replay, which uses advanced audio processing technology to synchronize audio recordings with handwritten notes. This allows users to jot down key points during conferences or lectures and then tap on these key points to listen to the related recorded content. This aids in better recall and review of content.
