Digital transformation does not only mean applying technology within the institution, but it is a comprehensive program that also includes how to provide services to the target audience and an integrated system that affects the institution and affects the method and style of its internal work to provide services in an easier, faster and better way.

Engineer Khaled Ibrahim confirmed that the eighth session of the annual conference and exhibition " DIGITAL NATION 8" with the participation of 40 Egyptian technology companies, medium and small, constituted a qualitative leap in partnership and integration and enhancing the concept of networking between members of the "CIT" Chamber with industrial companies and institutions, from more than 11 industrial chambers, as these companies reviewed an integrated set of technical solutions that aim to stimulate the adoption of "smart manufacturing" technology to achieve digital transformation at the level of all industrial sectors, and thus increase competitiveness to become an effective element in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The head of the CIT Chamber pointed out that the activities of the " DIGITAL NATION 8" conference include the launch of 3 new initiatives, the first of which is "Digitizing Egyptian Factories" in partnership with the Federation of Egyptian Industries, which aims to stimulate the adoption of "smart manufacturing" technology to achieve digital transformation at the level of all industrial sectors, and thus increase competitiveness.

The 2024 employment forum for technological cadres "CIT Talent Connect" will also be organized in partnership between the Chamber, the Federation of Industries, and "Wazef - Our Opportunities" Company, as the forum aims to highlight our possession of a diverse base of human resources that possess the digital skills necessary to support the digital transformation process in all industrial institutions. As for the third initiative, it is represented in the launch of the "Electronic Catalog" platform, which allows for the first time to display all technological solutions provided by Egyptian technology companies, which helps in identifying and promoting these solutions locally and globally, which were developed by Egyptian minds.
