Egyptian Chinese University opens the first lab for Huawei’s ICT Academy

  • Huawei, the leading global ICT solution provider, in partnership with the Egyptian Chinese University starts the first lab for Huawei’s ICT Academy which is held under the patronage of the ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research to support Egypt’s sustainable development vision for 2030.

     

    Huawei’s lab in the Egyptian Chinese University is training the awarded students with golden medals from Huawei ICT national competition 2018-2019 for HCIA certificates. Huawei will also provide the students with trainings in network and cloud fields as well as Soft skills training. 

     

    HCIA certificates provide the students with the principles of network technologies. It covers wide range of topics including network fundamentals, Ethernet, various protocols such as those used in routing, and Huawei’s own VRP operating system―all essential aspects of HCIA certification.

     

    It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Higher Education awarded the past month the three Egyptian students whom were ranked 2nd in Huawei’s global ICT competition against 49 teams from 1600 universities from across the globe. 

     

    Huawei ICT Academy is a partnership between Huawei and Academies around the world. Through this partnership, Academy delivers Huawei ICT technologies training, encourages students to get Huawei certification, and develops talents with practical skills for the ICT industry and the community. Huawei has developed a comprehensive range of ICT career certifications based on its industry leading technologies and global practices. The Huawei ICT Academy program includes the following certification category: Cloud Computing, Big Data, IoT and AI.
