Doxx, the fully integrated platform connecting medical professionals and institutional healthcare providers to users in the MENA region, today announced its partnership with Orman Schools with ambitious plans to expand Doxx services to encompass the well-being of 40,000 students and their families associated with Orman Schools by 2026. Additionally, the platform aspires to impact the lives of 100,000 students through a nationwide collaboration with diverse educational institutions.
Commencing its inaugural phase in the final quarter of 2023, the initiative has already provided medical benefits akin to traditional insurance schemes to over 4,000 students at Orman School in Shubra, addressing a critical need for uninsured populations.
Mr. Ahmed Kabbany, CEO of Orman Schools, has been the linchpin in this pioneering endeavor. With a sharp eye on the gap in healthcare services, his foresight and dedication have paved the way for a model that not only caters to the immediate medical needs of students and their families but also fosters a nurturing environment that supports their academic and professional aspirations.
Doxx stands out for its patient-centric model, offering a reliable platform where patients can effortlessly manage their medical records and navigate their healthcare journey. It allows patients and doctors to upload and maintain medical records and prescriptions directly onto the app, identifying each user's specific health need and recommending a specialized health practitioner.
This initiative, the first of its kind to integrate healthcare services within the educational sector, leverages Doxx's advanced technology to provide a comprehensive suite of medical services. These include booking doctor visits, teleconsultations, pharmacy deliveries, and personalized healthcare recommendations, all through a user-friendly app designed to serve as a lifelong medical companion.
Dr. Sherif El-Baroudy, Founder and CEO of Doxx, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "We are thrilled to collaborate with Orman Schools to bring unparalleled medical services to students. The initiative is a testament to our commitment to leveraging technology for the betterment of society. Our aim is to create a medical record for every single case we can get and to hopefully be able to provide this for all citizens. This would immediately translate into fewer medical data errors.”
Mr. Ahmed Kabbany, lauded as the driving force behind this collaboration, remarked, "Our partnership with Doxx represents a major leap forward in our quest to offer a holistic educational experience. By ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our students, we are not just educating them but preparing them for a healthier, more successful future."
This partnership is poised to transform the educational and healthcare landscape in Egypt, inspiring other institutions to adopt similar comprehensive, affordable medical service models, thereby elevating the standard of education and healthcare across the region.
