Dr. Osama Abu Al-Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Luxor University, confirmed that the faculty seeks to implement activities aimed at introducing students to the latest digital opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. With the aim of creating a link between students and entrepreneurs; To benefit from their experiences and link them to practical study; To prepare them to keep pace with new developments globally, the events concluded with honoring graduates of the College of Computers and Information, with the participation of parents to celebrate their educational career and university life.
This came during the opening of the activities of the Digital Innovation Summit, which was organized by the Faculty of Computers and Information under the slogan “Towards a Sustainable Environment”, in the Roman Theater of the Egyptian Public Library, in the presence of Dr. Hamdi Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University, Dr. Adel Zein El-Din, President of Thebes University of Technology, and Dr. Mohamed Raslan, Vice President of Taiba University of Technology, Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Director of the Public Library of Egypt, deans of Luxor University faculties, deans, faculty members, and a group of labor market experts.
He added that the summit aims to qualify the students of the College of Computing for the labor market and to connect the students to the labor market by inviting major companies working in the fields of computer science and various information systems to give lectures on their need for skills and tools that the graduate must have in order to easily obtain a job opportunity.
Pointing out the college’s urge to qualify and prepare its students and graduates for the latest technological specializations, in accordance with the changes in the labor market, by organizing training courses in the fields of computers and information systems and qualification forums for the labor market, calling on students to invest in opportunities to participate in the summit’s activities, explaining that our goal is to link the university to the labor market and create Decent job opportunities for young graduates, in addition to inviting college graduates and those who have obtained job opportunities in the largest communications and information technology companies to exchange their experiences with their fellow students.
