Herfy Food Services Co Adopts RISE with SAP Premium Edition to drive operational excellence and innovation

    Herfy Food Services Company (Herfy), Saudi Arabia’s largest fast-food chain, has signed an agreement with SAP at LEAP 2025 in Riyadh to adopt RISE with SAP Premium Edition hosted on Google Cloud’s local data centers. The move marks a significant step in Herfy’s digital transformation journey, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and innovation.

     

    Established in 1981, Herfy operates over 380 restaurants nationwide and is a leading producer and distributor of food products in Saudi Arabia. The company’s transition from on-premise ERP to a cloud-based solution reflects its ambition to pioneer local industry advancements, enhance data security, and adopt emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, and SAP DataSphere. By hosting its data on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in Saudi Arabia, Herfy ensures adherence to national data security policies while optimizing business processes for agility and resilience.

Additionally, the implementation of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ensures a clean digital core, allowing AI-powered processes to function more effectively.

     

    With this deployment, Herfy expects to achieve several key benefits, including leveraging embedded analytics to enable managers to make faster, data-driven decisions. The adoption of a Fiori-based user experience will ensure accessibility across devices, empowering employees with mobile solutions. The implementation will also simplify processes by leveraging industry best practices, while extended data retention and retrieval capabilities through SAP DataSphere will allow for deeper analytics.
