The 29th edition of the Cairo International Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Middle East and Africa, Cairo ICT 2025, concluded, achieving the highest attendance in the exhibition's history. Its halls welcomed 161,000 visitors during the four days from November 16 to 19, 2025, in addition to approximately 82,000 visitors to the Connecta exhibition and conference, which specializes in youth and entertainment technology.

This took place in the presence of His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

The Cairo ICT 2025, PAFIX, and AIDC exhibitions, held concurrently in four halls at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, featured 96 panel discussions with 491 speakers, including technology leaders and experts, throughout the exhibition period. The Connecta exhibition and conference hosted an additional 84 panel discussions. More than 27 major partnership agreements were also signed during Cairo ICT 2025.

The events included five high-level meetings between leading consultants and exhibiting companies to exchange global expertise and knowledge. Several roundtables were also held, most notably one in the healthcare sector and another, a first for the aviation sector. In addition, more than 20 meetings were held for Chief Cybersecurity Officers (CISOs), making the exhibition the largest gathering of cybersecurity experts in Egypt and the region. During the closing press conference of the exhibition, Osama Kamal, Chairman of Trade Fairs International, the event organizer, expressed his sincere gratitude to His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for inaugurating the conference, to Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, for his patronage and ongoing support of the exhibition, to Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his participation and sponsorship of the AIDC exhibition and conference, and to the Central Bank of Egypt for its continued sponsorship of the PAFIX exhibition and conference, represented by Eng. Ayman Hussein, First Deputy Governor for Information Technology, and Dr. Mohamed Amer, Acting Deputy Governor for Banking Operations and Payment Systems.

Kamal also expressed his appreciation for the participation of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education; Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation; Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance; Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture; Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization; Engineer Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA); Engineer Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA); and the continued participation of Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority.

Kamal emphasized that this success is the result of an integrated system of joint efforts between the organizing team, partners from the press and media, and exhibitors who were keen to be present and work diligently despite the various circumstances throughout the years the exhibition has been held. He noted that this year's edition witnessed strong participation from companies for the first time. Kamal announced that the 30th edition of Cairo ICT will be held on November 8, 2026, in light of anticipated local and regional developments during that month. He emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) will receive greater attention and application at the exhibition, as it is a pivotal issue affecting various economic sectors, not just the technology field. He revealed that this year's exhibition video was produced entirely using AI tools.

He added, "AI is already ubiquitous, and its role extends far beyond applications related to conversations or images. It has fundamental impacts on all sectors, requiring everyone to acquire the necessary knowledge to leverage its immense potential within their respective fields."
