Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader, is set to showcase solutions to help organizations tackle increasingly sophisticated AI-based threats by embracing a ‘Platformization’ approach to reduce complexity and ensure better security outcomes at GITEX Global.
Palo Alto Networks executives including Haider Pasha, Chief Security Officer, EMEA, and Samer El Kodsi, Regional Vice President, Gulf & North Africa, will put the spotlight on the latest cybersecurity challenges faced by organizations in the region by hosting ‘Voices of Cybersecurity’, a series of podcasts featuring thought leaders, CxO customers and global system integrators throughout GITEX 2025. Topics and sessions will include AI versus human challenges, customer spotlights highlighting Palo Alto Networks’ key wins in MENA, and live LinkedIn sessions to boost reach and engagement in real time.
“AI has opened up immense opportunities for organizations while also bringing huge security challenges,” Haider Pasha said. “At GITEX Global we will show how companies can maintain robust security in the era of AI and cloud by adopting a ‘Platformization’ approach that can markedly improve the speed and quality of response. This is vital for organizations to stay secure without curtailing the ability to innovate with new technology, allowing them to safely tap growth opportunities in the UAE and the wider region.”
Technologies including AI and cloud have massively expanded the attack surface, creating complexity and new vulnerabilities: GenAI is correlated with an increase in data security incidents, with data loss prevention (DLP) incidents related to GenAI having more than doubled in early 2025, according to Palo Alto Networks’ recent State of Generative AI in 2025 report. For this reason, the company will offer demonstrations of solutions including Prisma AIRS, its groundbreaking AI security platform which serves as the cornerstone for robust AI protection, designed to protect the entire enterprise AI ecosystem including AI apps, agents, models, and data at every step.
Other solutions in the spotlight will include the PAN-OS 12.1 Orion, which introduces a range of new cybersecurity features such as passwordless authentication solution, support for quantum safe security and post-quantum cryptography, and enhanced scalability for multi-cloud environments. Prisma SASE 4.0 is also an AI-driven SASE solution that integrates an advanced Prisma Browser to protect against modern threats and also provides advanced data security for AI agents and copilots.
