President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met through video conferencing technology with a number of directors of isolation hospitals nationwide, namely Agouza Hospitals, Sheikh Zayed, May 15, Abu Khalifa, Esna Specialist, and Ain Shams Specialist Specialist Transit, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education Scientific research, Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj Eddin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs via video conference technology.
Ambassador Bassam Rady, Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that during the meeting, the President continued the progress of work in the isolation hospitals, as it is one of the most important tools of the state to combat the spread of the Corona virus emerging, as he expressed appreciation and pride in the huge efforts made by the medical staff working in these hospitals during this period The special.
The President directed in the same context to provide all the necessary medical needs and supplies for isolation hospitals, and to ensure the application of updated treatment protocols and the highest standards for infection control in them, as well as stressing the provision of a sufficient number of manpower.
The President also directed to intensify awareness campaigns to correct the misconceptions of some citizens regarding the Corona virus, which would lead some to avoid being tested or seek medical care for fear of being subjected to social exclusion, which increases their risk of infection.
