Jumia, the leading e-commerce platform in Egypt, continued its celebrations of the Egyptian women under the International Women’s month by launching a mother’s campaign dubbed “Beloved Mom”.
Believing in the role of every Egyptian woman, Jumia announced the launch of “Beloved Mom” campaign, which began on 8 March and is set to run until the 21 of March. This is in cooperation with several international and local brands to honor all mothers by offering products with up to 60% off on discounts. Some of the partners include Samsung, L'Oreal, Defacto, Unilever, Procter & Gamble.
The campaign offers discounts on all women's needs, including cosmetics, smartphones, leather bags and shoes, as well as kitchen and home appliances.
Jumia offers an interest-free installment service via number of banks, including Banque Misr. in addition, up to 20% special discounts upon using MasterCard and Vodafone Cash wallet.
Moreover, Flash Sale offers additional discounts from the first day of the campaign. In addition to the Cashback service on purchases upon using JumiaPay, the safest and easiest solution for online payment through Jumia platform. Jumia also offers free delivery in Cairo and Giza.
Hesham Safwat, CEO of Jumia in Egypt, affirmed that "No matter what we offer, we will not be able to return the kindness to our mothers’". He also indicated that Jumia is keen to provide a great number of offers and discounts annually to encourage people to buy gifts for their mothers, as they represent more than half of the community and they are the mainstay of society and family.
Safwat added, "Jumia gives special importance to the Egyptian woman, whether she is a member of Jumia family or not, as a mother, worker or a housewife, as her role has become a crucial one in the economic and social development around the country, especially in light of her great achievements at the present time."
