Telecom Egypt "WE" has successfully captured the title of the fastest
fixed landline internet in North Africa for the third and fourth
quarters of 2020 with average speeds of 32.66 Mbps, according to what
was announced by ️Ookla®, the world leader in the field of measurement
and evaluation. Internet speeds, which are based on a careful analysis
of the tests conducted by users through the Speedtest®. The award for
"WE" network confirms Telecom Egypt’s keenness to support the
country's digital transformation process through continuous investment
in developing and modernizing the infrastructure.
For his part, Eng. Adel Hamed, Managing Director and CEO of Telecom
Egypt, said: “Obtaining this title comes as a culmination of great and
continuous efforts to develop infrastructure and improve the level of
