- Unionaire Group Technology launches its new brand UGT with investments of up to 6 billion Egyptian pounds

In response to a "Alam Rakamy " question, Eng. Mohamed Fathy Othman, Chairman of Union Air Technology Group "UGT", confirmed that the company is planning the largest and most modern laboratory for quality measurements of engineering products in Egypt and the Middle East and Africa with a value of 50 million pounds for the first phase, where the plant is being equipped with modern equipment.
As it is the first of its kind and is identical to the quality laboratories in Europe and America. The laboratory will provide the approved quality certificate for all the company's products, including electronic and consumer devices, to the "UGT" company and to other companies, as the certified certificate will be granted for the products in only 4 days, after passing all the tests for the quality of the products Instead of taking more than a month.
This came during the activities of the annual media meeting of the company, on the sidelines of the breakfast party, and in response to a "Alam Rakamy" question about the company's readiness to deal with the global crisis, the company stopped factories producing electronic chips used in consumer and electronic devices that the company, of course, is aware of this global crisis and has sufficient stocks until Next June, but then we hope that this global crisis will end and the factories that produce these chips will return to their full production capacity to meet the needs of factories in various countries of the world.
Digital transformation
In response to a "Alam Rakamy" question about the company's interest in keeping pace with digital transformation and relying on modern technology to develop its products, the Chairman of the Union Air Technology Group "UGT" said that the company is one of the first companies in the region to realize the importance of technology in modernizing its products and keeping pace with the needs of consumers where it has.
Electronic products "cookers and air-conditioners" can be fully controlled through a smart phone application, which is a practical application for the concept of smart home. The company is also working on establishing the largest complex for manufacturing electronic devices in 6th of October City with a contribution of 110 thousand meters on two floors, equipped with the latest devices for manufacturing electronic goods With levels comparable to what exists in the European Union and America, and it will have an important role in developing our competitive capabilities in foreign markets.
10 times what we expect
Engineer Muhammad Fathy Othman, Chairman of the Union Air Technology Group "UGT", confirmed that the first quarter of 2021 has already witnessed a significant increase in the value of the group's exports, and the value of the group's exports exceeded 15 million dollars. We expect that our exports in this year will exceed about 100 million dollars, especially with the increasing demand. On products in more than 60 foreign markets we deal with, in addition to restoring the Libyan market, where we have requests exceeding 10 times what we expected, as well as the Sudanese market for growth rates after the political stability in these markets in addition to the good position the company enjoys in the Gulf market.
In line with its strategic vision towards settling the home appliances industry and achieving the economic development goals and under the slogan "Complex journey", Unionaire Group Technology (UGT), the leader in the advanced home appliances industry, today has announced launching its new brand with investments amounting 6 billion Egyptian pounds. This step comes with a clear objective to create a comprehensive umbrella for all the brands managed by the group, namely, Unionaire, Premium, Fine Stone and TCL.
The group aspires to enhance the national industry for home appliances by adding the latest technical and digital innovations in the local market. Besides, the group is restructuring the future plans to double its exports to more than 60 countries around the world amounting $ 100 million by the end of 2021.

Worth to be mentioned that the UGT was established in 1995 and has more than 7,000 employees, and the group also has 13 factories on an area of 110 square kilometers, and the group has been ranked among the top 10 factories for home appliances around the world.
