the joint NEX-LABS and PHEMAC innovation week will bring together Euro-Mediterranean researchers, policy makers, investors, Industry players, Academia, Technology Transfer Offices, SMEs, startups and Entrepreneurs.
The event will provide participants with unique opportunities to know more about Water, Energy and Food (WEF) NEXUS status and realities in Tunisia and the Euro-Mediterranean Region and to forge strategic partnerships across Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Participants will connect with relevant peers and stakeholders in Europe and the MENA region through a regional conference, workshops,discussion panels and expert roundtables, followed by B2B matchmaking sessions. SMEs, Startups and Innovators will have the opportunity to exhibit their innovative products, services & ideas through the virtual exhibition and innovation fair.
The NEX-LABS project aims to support implementation of clean technologies for sustainable and resilient increase of agri-food sector production based on a more efficient use of energy (renewable/solar solutions) and water (wastewater treatment, water harvesting or reuse solutions) in the Mediterranean region thanks to the contributions of ICT. It includes a partnership of 11 institutions from 7 different countries (Spain, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Italy, Egypt and Cyprus).
