Amazon.eg today announced its collaboration with Shark Tank Egypt for the third consecutive year, creating new pathways for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and entrepreneurs to grow online. Building on the success of previous seasons, the collaboration connects entrepreneurs with Amazon’s selling tools, fulfillment infrastructure, and customer reach, helping local businesses scale sustainably through e-commerce. For the first time this season, Amazon.eg is introducing two Golden Tickets—doubling the opportunity for standout entrepreneurs to receive enhanced support including merchandising opportunities and dedicated account management. The expansion reflects the growing impact of the collaboration and Amazon’s deepening investment in nurturing local talent.
Through this collaboration, entrepreneurs gain access to resources designed to accelerate their growth. These include AI-powered tools that help simplify listing creation and provide insights on inventory management and performance optimization. With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), selling partners can store inventory in Amazon’s fulfillment centers while Amazon handles picking, packing, delivery, and customer returns—making products eligible for Prime’s fast, free delivery and freeing entrepreneurs to focus on product development and innovation.
From the Tank to Amazon.eg: A Dedicated Storefront for Homegrown Brands
Amazon.eg has launched a dedicated “From the Tank to Amazon.eg – amazon.eg/SharkTank” storefront, bringing together brands featured across Shark Tank seasons that now sell on Amazon.eg. The storefront gives these businesses additional visibility, placing them where millions of customers already shop and making it easier to discover products from entrepreneurs they first saw on screen. Featured brands include Pavo, Curlitt, The Mat, Baby Star, Haxel, Havana, Dido’s, Iron Mist, Ketolicious, Ashry Naturals, Wrap and Roll, and The Nines.
Omar Elsahy, General Manager of Amazon Egypt, said: “When I see brands like Iron Mist, The Mat, Curlitt, and Baby Star, I see the future of Egypt’s entrepreneurial economy taking shape. These businesses built lasting brands, reached new customers, and created meaningful impact. Our collaboration with Shark Tank has grown into a launchpad where Egyptian entrepreneurs gain the tools, infrastructure, and reach to turn bold ideas into sustainable businesses. Every season reinforces my belief that when we remove barriers, Egyptian entrepreneurs turn opportunity into impact.”
Ayman Abbas, Executive Chairman of Intro Holding and investor on Shark Tank Egypt, said: “What continues to stand out each season is the quality and ambition of the entrepreneurs. Egypt has strong entrepreneurial talent, and giving founders access to the right resources and opportunities can help them build and scale their businesses. The collaboration between Shark Tank Egypt and Amazon is a positive step toward supporting that journey.”
Ahmed Luxor, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Innovative Media Productions, producers of Shark Tank Egypt, said: “What started as a collaboration has evolved into a force that delivers measurable results for Egyptian entrepreneurs. Amazon invests in these businesses long after the cameras stop rolling. With two Golden Tickets this season and a dedicated storefront bringing Shark Tank brands to millions of customers, we are proving that the journey from pitch to product shelf has never been shorter.”
In last year’s season, Amazon.eg awarded the Golden Ticket to The Mat. This recognition included merchandising opportunities and dedicated account management, helping the brand strengthen its presence and achieve measurable growth. Farah Sadek, CEO of The Mat, said: “Before the Golden Ticket, we were figuring things out on our own. The account management and merchandising support gave us structure—we learned what was working, fixed what wasn’t, and started growing sustainably. Our sales increased, we reached customers outside our usual circles, and for the first time we could plan ahead instead of just reacting. Amazon gave us the tools, but we still had to do the work and that combination made the difference.”
White Friday and Sale Events: Helping Selling Partners Reach New Customers
Selling partners on Amazon.eg benefit from major annual sale events like White Friday and seasonal campaigns throughout the year. These high-traffic moments drive significant visibility and sales, helping businesses reach new customers at scale and build momentum beyond the sale period. For many SMBs, these events introduce their products to a wider audience and help convert first-time buyers into repeat customers.
