PwC Middle East welcomed 322 new graduates as part of its annual graduate intake this year. The graduates will join PwC’s ever-growing team of over 5600 people in 12 offices across the Middle East
Commenting on the occasion, Hani Ashkar, PwC Middle East Senior Partner, noted: “Our graduates represent the future of our firm. Their passion and drive fuels our commitment to solving important problems and building trust in our society. Each year, we work hard to ensure that our graduate mix is balanced and diverse, representing the region we operate in. Our commitment to developing young talent in the region is a testament to our continued confidence in the market and their ability to lead through times of change.”
Meanwhile, PwC Middle East People Partner, Emma Campbell said: “At PwC we are proud to provide the opportunity for local talent to learn, grow and ultimately unlock their full potential. We work hard to ensure we are always offering our people best in class experiences and exposure.
And while the impact of technology and automation in the workplace can no longer be ignored, the greater challenge lies in our understanding of how best we can achieve our goals while holding true to our purpose. In today’s all- technological world, the skills that make us uniquely human are the ones that matter most. Only our people can help us achieve this.”
The graduates attended an induction session in Dubai, in which they interacted closely with the Middle East Leadership team and received an overview of the firm and its strategy. PwC’s annual graduate induction programme is a flagship event for the firm in the Middle East where every year, it brings in a record number of graduates to join its Middle East offices.
